William Orbinson QC led the multi-disciplinary team which secured SONI planning permission for the Northern Ireland section of the North-South electricity interconnector. That application went to public inquiry before the PAC in February 2017 and was granted planning permission in January 2018
Mr Orbinson is a regular speaker at events such as the Northern Ireland Energy Forum, and is the author of a wide range of publications on planning, energy and the environment
